Redstrand - working with you

Custom made, clutter-free websites

For many businesses, having an easy-to-use website has become as essential as a telephone line and probably more important than a fax.

Darragh McGann and Ian Corcoran recognised this and founded Redstrand in 2003 to develop professional, clutter-free websites, particularly for small-to-medium sized enterprises.

The first Redstrand client was Renault Ireland, which McGann and Corcoran redeveloped to include an online brochure and test drive requests, a database of equipment, options, colours and prices for all the models in the Renault fleet. The site was re-branded in 2005 and won the best motoring site award at the 2005 Golden Spider Awards, which recognise internet development.

"You should only set up a website if you can see the benefits for your company," said McGann, who is business development manager of Redstrand. "For example, it can be a cost-effective and efficient way to communicate with customers and prospective customers in an increased geographic range."

Among Redstrand's other clients is the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE®, for which it has developed an online ticket sales application allowing visitors to pre-book their tickets online.

The company has also developed websites for Xtravision and Aiken Promotions in association with online shopping club, Pigsback.com. It has created websites for recruitment firm MaryB.ie and an online dating website, Lovelife.ie.

McGann described Redstrand as a "one-stop-shop" for non-technical customers who wanted websites tailored to their needs.

"That could include an ecommerce element, a database for taking online orders or brochure requests, or integrating websites with other systems," he said. ‘"Every solution is a customised solution and the service can cost from €10,000 depending on the customer's needs. Increasingly, website users dictate what they want from a website."

Our Clients

"I can't praise Redstrand enough. Their approach is logical, they will challenge you when you need to be challenged but it will never feel like anything other than a casual question - I like their style very much."
